Online: Waking up with the body in mind with Jaya Karen Rudgard

A day of qigong and insight meditation
Qigong originates in the contemplative, healing and martial arts of ancient China, teaching how skilfully to bring the energies of body, heart and mind together so that each works to support the other. In insight meditation we likewise cultivate an embodied mindfulness, calm, and clear seeing in order to free ourselves from habit patterns that cause harm and distress to ourselves and our world. Bringing these two complementary practices together, we can better resource ourselves to be conduits of healing in our own lives and in the life of our planet.
The day will involve periods of teaching, gentle movement, guided and silent meditation and opportunity for questions and discussion. No prior meditation experience or particular level of fitness or mobility is needed; the movements are easily adaptable (e.g. can be done seated), and suitable for all ages and levels of fitness and most health conditions. Everyone is welcome.

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching.
