Online: Nothing left out with Bernat Font (CDL) & River Wolton (CDL)
This online retreat will be held via zoom. Please register via the tickets below and you will be sent a zoom link on the evening of Fri 19th February.
A one day online retreat for the LGBTQI+ community.
Do we leave aspects of our lives outside the door when we come to a meditation class or retreat? If so, what effect does this have? In this one day retreat we’ll aim to co-create a space of acceptance, reflection and support in which to cultivate mindfulness, embodied kindness and wisdom through insight meditation. A community of shared intention and practice allows us to make greater peace with ourselves and our lives, and to grow our capacity for freedom. We will touch on teachings that relate to identity, and how our relationship to identity can deepen into ease and beauty.
The day will include guided sitting and walking meditation, small group discussions, mindful movement, reflections on the theme, and opportunities to ask questions. The meditation periods will be up to 30 minutes long, and can be adapted to lying down, standing or any posture that is comfortable.
The retreat welcomes people with a range of meditation experience (including newcomers) who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans, non-binary, gender fluid, bi-gender, gender diverse, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, agender… and more
