An experiential introduction to Buddhist teachings.
This short course will focus on the core Buddhist teaching of the Four Noble Truths and their relevance to everyday experience. This teaching lays a foundation for many other teachings, but in itself is an effective way of understanding the ups and downs of our life, and a way of transforming this into lasting happiness. The course will run on Zoom for five weeks, starting on May 13. It is suitable for beginning students as well as those who are more experienced. Sessions will include meditation practice, teaching, and experiential work in pairs and small groups. Participants will also be given suggested readings to help them understand the teachings, and also some home practise between session
