SUMMARY:Online: Living in the light of the four noble truths
DESCRIPTION:This online course will run for 5 weeks on Thursday evenings via zoom.  Please register via the tickets below and you will be sent a zoom link on Weds 12th May. \nAn experiential introduction to Buddhist teachings. \nThis short course will focus on the core Buddhist teaching of the Four Noble Truths and their relevance to everyday experience.  This teaching lays a foundation for many other teachings\, but in itself is an effective way of understanding the ups and downs of our life\, and a way of transforming this into lasting happiness. The course will run on Zoom for five weeks\, starting on May 13. It is suitable for beginning students as well as those who are more experienced.  Sessions will include meditation practice\, teaching\, and experiential work in pairs and small groups.  Participants will also be given suggested readings to help them understand the teachings\, and also some home practise between session \nCOMMUNITY DHARMA LEADER (CDL) SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES \nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the CDLs for their teaching.  You will be invited to make a financial donation to Gary who’s running the course.  Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \nEVENT PRICES \nStandard:  £25.00  – This covers our costs\nSponsor:    £30.00  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nSupported: £20.00  – For those unable to afford the standard rate \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. \nIf you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know.
