Chuey Loh has been practising as an integrative psychotherapist for over 20 years. She trained with The Karuna Institute founded by Maura Sills, where the mindfulness-based psychotherapy is rooted in Buddhist psychology. Chuey was a tutor on the MA psychotherapy programme at Karuna and also worked for several years on the NHS delivering therapeutic services to a multiracial population in London. She is an accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with the professional organisation UKCP – The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. She recently completed her doctoral studies at the University of Exeter. Her research thesis examines the engagement of embodied practices of mindfulness in identifying therapeutic change.

Chuey has been meditating for over 30 years. She holds a regular meditation group in London where mindfulness is practised in speaking, listening and enquiring into relational aspects of contemporary living.
