In-person: Vipassana Insight Meditation in the Mahasi tradition with Bhante Bodhidhamma

EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Mahasi Sayadaw of Burma, one of the most influential meditation teachers of the last century, developed a combination of techniques, primarily noting and going slow, to develop the steadiness of attention needed for insight into impermanence, unsatisfactoriness and insubstantiality. Such insights lead to a greater well-being and ease of living and, ultimately, to liberation from all suffering.
A day of practice with Bhante, chanting the Refuges and Precepts, periods of sitting and walking meditation and time for questions and answers.

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Standard: £20.00 – This covers our costs
Sponsor: £25.00 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.
Supported: £12.00 – For those unable to afford the standard rate

If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds, providing places are available.
COVID 19 RELATED CONSIDERATIONS FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS
We are delighted to offer in-person events in London again. We are doing all that we can to create a safe and supportive environment for in-person events, whilst being mindful of the ongoing guidance relating to the covid-19 pandemic. At this time, we request that tickets for in-person events are booked in advance. Tickets will not be available on the day at the venue.
We are keeping up to date with the government guidelines. We are also guided by each venue’s Health and Safety measures with regard to capacity, cleaning measures and safety systems. Prior to each event we will send you further information about what to expect on the day.
