EVENT DESCRIPTION

What does it mean to live in the full awareness that we are not here forever? The Buddha’s teachings encourage us to regularly contemplate the reality of death: the practice of “maranasati,” in the service of living an awakened life.

Reflecting wholeheartedly on this fundamental dimension of existence clarifies what is truly important, and supports us to live with wisdom, courage, and an open heart.

In this day retreat there will be teachings and interactive exercises exploring the theme, with time for meditation and contemplation in silence.

Suitable for anyone with experience of silent meditation practice.

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching.
