Understanding mindfulness and inner awakening with John Teasdale
10 November 2017 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
It has been suggested that there is a need for a Universal Dharma. By this is meant finding a new way to talk about and understand the origins and healing of human suffering, and the possibilities of a radically different way of being in the world, without using the language of any particular contemplative tradition. In this talk I will explore how far a framework of understanding that played a key role in the development of Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) can be usefully extended to help us understand mindfulness more generally, and the possibilities of further inner awakening.
