DESCRIPTION:On this online evening event\, Leigh Brasington will explore the Honeyball Sutta. \nEVENT OVERVIEW\nThe Honeyball Sutta (MN 18) gives a very clear explanation of how we process input from our senses. And it furthermore shows how we get caught up in mental proliferation (Papañca) which can lead to all sorts of unwelcomed results. We will discuss in detail the various mechanisms involved in our sensory processing as well as strategies for keeping a clear head and avoiding that unwanted mental chatter that gets us into so much dukkha. This sutta is brilliant in the way it weaves together teachings on the six-sense and the aggregates. \nThe evening will include meditation\, a talk and Q&A. \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching.
