SUMMARY:Online: Wisdom and Compassion
DESCRIPTION:EVENT OVERVIEW\nDharma teachings point to wisdom and compassion as two wings of the path that leads from dukkha (ill being\, suffering) to freedom. On this online course we will delve into these mutually supportive and deeply liberating aspects of the path. \nTogether\, we will explore how cultivating compassion and wisdom supports us in bringing the practice to all areas of life\, from formal practice to beneficial action in the world. \nThe course is taught by Zohar Lavie who will also be assisted by Community Dharma Leader Esther Slattery. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nThe booking fee is for all sessions of the course. Please note that each session is recorded in full for booked participants to catch up on any missed session. \nSponsor:  £50  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £40\nSupported: £20  – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nPlease note that the Zoom access details are sent via e-mail the day before the course start\, or on the evening of the first session for late bookings.
