SUMMARY:Online: Uncovering The Courageous Heart: An Insight Dialogue Retreat
DESCRIPTION:EVENT OVERVIEW\nIn this online retreat we will explore how the Buddhas’ teachings on the Divine Abidings\, strengthen and open ‘the heart’ to meet suffering with love and equanimity. Together\, in community\, we will build our capacity to meet the individual and collective heart ache\, that arises from living in this tumultuous world. We will engage in the relational meditation practice of Insight Dialogue to investigate\, cultivate\, and attune to the innate qualities of the heart; compassion\, kindness\, empathetic joy and equanimity. \nThe meditative practice of Insight Dialogue addresses the urgent need for a practice that recognises the interpersonal and social as intrinsic to awakening. Rooted in the Vipassana tradition\, it invites the  mindfulness\, investigation\, concentration and tranquillity experienced in solitary practice\, into the context of our relational lives. Meditating together in spiritual friendship\, kindness\, care and compassion arise naturally. The dharma enlivens in the immediacy of the present moment. With the support of the other\, awakening is possible\, together. \nThe retreat will include silent meditation\, relational meditation\, periods of walking and integrated life practices. As it is an online retreat\, there will be generous periods away from screen to support participant well-being. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching.
