DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION\nIn this weekend course\, we will explore a less-taught area of the Dharma: The Six Sense Bases (the five physical senses plus the mind). \nThe Buddha pointed out how prone we are to attachment and hence dukkha around sense experience\, and yet\, to live is to be in continual contact with the sense world. \nWhat to do? Clarity and wisdom are needed\, so we will explore multiple suttas on the topic of the senses and their objects and see what we can learn. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nThe booking fee is for both days of the workshop. \nSponsor: £30 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £24\nSupported: £12 – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can.
