DESCRIPTION:This online course will run for 5 weeks on Thursday evenings via zoom.  Please register via the tickets below and you will be sent a zoom link on Weds 7th July. \n\nMetta (goodwill or loving-kindness) is a powerful and transformative practice that connects us with our potential to awaken to ever deepening levels of love and wisdom.\n\n\nMetta is both radical and practical: it spans both the personal and the relational aspects of our experience and supports us to bring the Dharma into all areas of life.\n  \n\nOn this course we will explore our capacity to welcome each moment with a kind and spacious attention\, to nourish a sense of wellbeing and joy\, and to deepen our understanding of ourselves and all beings. \nEach session will include guided practice\, teachings and time for discussion. \n\n\nA weekly course is a wonderful opportunity to develop your practice and understanding with the support of a teacher and the community.\n\nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\n \nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \nEVENT PRICES \nStandard:  £20.00  – This covers our costs\nSponsor:    £25.00  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nSupported: £8.00  – For those unable to afford the standard rate \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. \nIf you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nThanks to your continuing support for our events over the last year\, we are able to offer a further reduction in prices for our online events from July and we hope this will be of benefit particularly to people who have been adversely affected by the economic impact of Covid pandemic.
