DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION \nAn evening exploring the four Brahmavihāra heart qualities in daily life. \nThe heart practices of kindness\, compassion\, appreciative joy and equanimity are powerful tools that strengthen our inner resources\, helping us to navigate the individual and collective challenges of our times. This introductory talk and guided meditation will help develop the capacity to rest in kindness\, strengthen resilience through compassion\, orient to appreciative joy for renewal of our energy\, and experience the peace of equanimity that comes through the release of reactivity. \nThis event is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced practitioners. This is a standalone event. However\, the evening also functions as an introduction to an online weekend retreat in May with Jill Shepherd\, which you can find here on our website. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES \nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead\, our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood.
