If you wish to go on a waiting list and be notified if a place becomes available\, please click here and enter you details. \n  \nEVENT DESCRIPTION\nWhen the world’s stronger winds begin to blow\, we can easily become uprooted and feel tossed around by life’s more capricious gales storms. In these times\, we can benefit from anchoring our awareness and rooting our physical presence into the ground of being. Within Dhamma (Sanskrit: Dharma) teachings\, we can know this ground through what the Buddha described as ‘the root of all things’ – that is\, the cause of suffering and the path to its cessation. \nIn this daylong retreat\, we will cultivate practices that connect us more solidly to the roots of our experience. Through Dhamma teachings\, meditation and qigong\, we will explore how to meet life’s blustery winds with the freedom and insight granted by the steady anchor of presence. \nNo prior qigong or meditation experience is required. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nSponsor:  £50  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £35\nSupported: £15  – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nPlease note that tickets will not be available on the day at the venue.
