DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION\nMultiple intersecting crises of climate\, ecology\, social justice\, violent conflict and more\, call for our attention and wise responses. \nThe Buddha’s teachings invite us to turn towards those elements of life we find challenging. How do we find our ground\, while opening and responding to circumstances that concern us\, in our lives and our world? \nThis day will explore engaging with the noble heart qualities of loving kindness\, compassion\, joy and equanimity\, in relation to our inner and outer spiritual practice\, as meditators in a time of intersecting crises. \nThe day will be primarily in silence but will include time for sharing our experience. Suitable for those who have some prior experience of meditation courses or retreats\, or a regular meditation practice. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nSponsor:  £50  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £35\nSupported: £15  – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nOnline ticket sales have now closed. However\, there will be some tickets available in the morning of the event at the venue (exact cash only please).
