DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION\nThis two day non-residential silent retreat will include practices from Kum Nye and Mindfulness that help us cultivate generosity; discipline; patience; diligence; concentration and wisdom. \nKum Nye is an embodied movement and contemplative practice\, developed by Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche. It enables us to experience at subtle and subliminal levels the healing potential within the human energy system. These embodying experiences have been taught as part of the preparation for psychotherapists to develop the capacity to meet and welcome all experience\, developing equanimity. \nAll are welcome\, no prior experience of Kum Nye or mindfulness required. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nACCESSIBILITY\nPlease note that Colet House where the event is held\, has some stairs leading to the toilets. There are also a few steps to access the building\, but a ramp can be put out if required. If you have any concerns around walking steps\, please contact us before booking so that we are aware of any accessibility needs you may have and can ensure we are able to meet them. Thank you for your understanding. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nPlease note that the booking fee is for the full weekend\, it is not possible to book for one day only. \nSponsor: £100 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £70\nSupported: £30 – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nPlease note that online bookings have now closed. However\, some tickets will be available in the morning of the event at the venue (exact cash only).
