DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION \nLiving in a fast paced modern society presents us with numerous opportunities and challenges. As practitioners we might wonder how to combine the ancient wisdom teachings of the Buddha with our demanding lives.  \nIn this retreat we have the chance to investigate our human condition and find peace and joy independent of time and place. \nThe event is suitable for both new and experienced practitioners. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES \nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nEVENT PRICES \nSponsor:  £35.00  – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £25.00\nSupported: £13.00  – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsored rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nTickets will not be available on the day at the venue.
