DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION\nThis one-day workshop will focus on the balance between effort and enjoyment in insight meditation\, to help refresh\, renew and re-inspire your practice. \nFor many people\, enjoyment is often less-well developed than effort – as it was for the Buddha himself\, at the start of his journey to awakening – so there will be an emphasis on cultivating muditā: appreciative joy\, gladness and gratitude\, to bring more ease\, enjoyment and balance into your meditation and your daily life. \nThe day will include talks\, guided and silent sitting meditation\, walking meditation\, and some small group discussion. \nSuitable for beginners as well as more experienced meditators. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nSponsor: £50 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £35\nSupported: £15 – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can.
