DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION\nWhen we have been practising a while\, there are times when our approach to the path might become routine. In this day retreat\, we will consider how to refresh our understanding of fundamental aspects of the Buddha’s teaching. \nWe will explore a variety of ways to think about the elements of the eightfold path\, and about how they are mutually supportive aspects of a liberating way of life. In this way\, aspects of the teachings that may have become taken-for-granted can be seen with fresh perspectives\, and give our practice a renewed vitality. \n  \nTEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES\nEvents at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana. \n  \nBOOKING FEE\nSponsor: £50 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.\nStandard:  £35\nSupported: £15 – For those unable to afford the standard rate. \nPlease pay the sponsor rate if you can. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds\, providing places are available. \nPlease note that online bookings have now closed.
