More fully human: awakening presence, love and wisdom with Martin Aylward
12 May 2018 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Two full days and four evenings: Sat 12th and Sun 13th May, 10-5pm, Mon 14th -Thurs 17th May 7-9pm
This weeklong ‘urban practice intensive’ will explore our three primary centres of consciousness – Head, Heart, and Belly, and how they can be developed to activate specific liberating qualities: Inhabiting the Belly centre of Embodiment, we cultivate Presence, the capacity to really live our experience from the inside. Exploring the Heart centre of love, we cultivate emotional freedom, dissolving old wounds and defences. Awakening the Head centre of Wisdom, we cultivate direct knowing, the clear seeing of experience as it is. The format of weekend days and weekday evenings will allow a deep dive into the material in the midst of your everyday life and activities. Guided by Martin’s lively, pragmatic and provocative teaching style, practices will include meditation, teachings, discussion and relational inquiry exercises.
Participants need to commit to the whole course (a maximum of one evening absence for prior commitments will be accepted).
Martin has taught these urban intensives annually at London Insight for the last 7 years, and it has proven to be a uniquely powerful format for more than 200 people who have taken the courses.
