Online: Finding and using the missing piece (Sat Oct) with Ajahn Sucitto
10 October 2020 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
This online retreat will be held via zoom. Please register via the tickets below and you will be sent a zoom link on the evening of Friday 9th October.
Why are we often internally conflicted? Could we arrive at inner harmony (and maybe from there bring harmony into our world)? The crucial understanding of the Buddha is that the aspect of mind that can provide balance and natural wisdom gets lost or buried and we can find that missing piece. On both days of the retreat, we will explore the basis of mind as it is revealed and steadied through embodied awareness. This gives access to the felt and energetic layers of experience, and through gaining skill in this area, we can discharge negative energies and touch into an open stillness that is attentive and secure.
Each day will consist of guidance in silent meditation (sitting, standing and walking) and will include a question and answer period. It’s fine to attend either day of this retreat but it’s best to attend both days in order to pick up the sequence of instructions.
