Finding the missing piece (Sat April) with Ajahn Sucitto
25 April 2020 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Why are we often internally conflicted? Could we arrive at inner harmony (and maybe from there bring harmony into our world)? The crucial understanding of the Buddha is, that the aspect of mind that can provide balance and natural wisdom gets lost or buried and we can find that missing piece. On both days of the retreat , we will explore the basis of mind as it is revealed and steadied through embodied awareness. Through gaining skill in discharging negative energies and influences, we can touch into an open stillness that is attentive and secure. The day will consist of guidance in silent meditation (sitting, standing and walking) as well as qi gong work on embodied energy, and chanting.
Each day will include a question and answer period. It’s fine to attend either or both days of this retreat. The theme will be the same but the content will be different. Each of these days will be repeated on Sat 10th and Sun 11th October with the aim of giving give more people a chance to hear Ajahn Sucitto teach on this theme and indeed for those who would like to hear the teachings repeated if this is something that they find helpful
