Empathetic joy with Maura Sills
29 February 2020 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Mudita (often translated as Empathetic Joy) is one of the limitless states of being of the Brahma Vihara (often translated as Divine Abodes). It is ubiquitous and inherent, always present and available. This quality of heart mind is linked to our wellbeing and fellow feeling, to a deep connection to our interbeing. During the workshop we will explore how joy gets obscured and how it may be reclaimed and recovered.
The workshop will include periods of sitting meditation, interactive work, talks and reflections/questions.
TEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES
Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. You will be invited to make a financial contribution – click here for more information.
