The Trustees of LIM are responsible for making sure we meet our obligations as a registered charity as well as setting our strategic direction. The team are volunteers and offer their time freely as required by the Charity Commission and in the spirit of service.
Norma is Chair of the Trustees and has been attending London Insight events since the late 1990s. She works as a general practitioner in London and has completed the Sharpham/Gaia House Committed Dharma Practitioner Programme.
Daniel has been an avid meditator and student of the Dharma for over 15 years. Born and educated in the United States, he worked for many years as a corporate lawyer, both on Wall Street and in the City. For more than five years he has had the privilege of hosting the weekly meetings of the Central London Sitting Group (details of which can be found on our Meditation Groups page).
Andrew joined the trustees in December 2015 as the treasurer. A chartered accountant, he has been advising charities and not-for-profits since taking early retirement in 1999. Andrew has followed the Buddhist path for 20 years and is a facilitator of the Richmond Mindfulness Meditation Group.
Steve spent most of his career in broadcast journalism and corporate communications, although for the final few years before retirement he worked in the field of mental health. His interest in meditation and Buddhism stretches back many years, and he values the way in which London Insight events help support his practice.
Lucy has spent the last 30 years since moving to London from the US in a mixture of private and public sector roles, including PR, management consulting and executive coaching. She discovered London Insight through mindfulness six years ago and has been trying to make up for her late discovery ever since. She is particularly excited about engaging with the London Insight community via social media.
