An interview is a one-to-one meeting with a teacher, usually lasting 25 minutes. It is up to you to bring the area for discussion. Teachers will usually offer possible answers to your questions. They are also likely to suggest ways in which you can look for your own answers.
Personal interviews with a teacher can be helpful if one has personal and practical questions about meditation practice or about how to apply meditation in daily life. In the direct contact one can try to clarify and creatively engage with another person to elucidate one's practice. -teacher Martine Batchelor.
We offer interviews once every one or two months. Interviews with our teachers are often also available if you attend a retreat at Gaia House.
Teachers receive no payment from London Insight except for their travel expenses. We invite you to make a voluntary contribution to their livelihood when attending an interview. The booking fee you pay for your interview pays for our overheads and teachers' expenses only.
