Stephen Batchelor will be joined by Don Cupitt, a leading radical Christian theologian, to discuss some of the questions that engage them both. What forms of religious practice are possible and appropriate for us today? What might “religion” or “spirituality” mean to those of us whose worldview has been shaped by the scientific discoveries, philosophical currents and social changes of the last two centuries? What can contemporary Buddhism and Christianity learn from each other? Don’s website is http://www.doncupitt.com, while many talks and interviews can be found by googling his name
The dialogue will be chaired by Madeleine Bunting of the *Guardian*. We plan to film the dialogue.
