Booking information

Booking online

When making your first online booking you will be asked to register with us.  You will then be prompted to pay for your place via Paypal.  Your Paypal receipt, sent to you by email, will be your booking confirmation and receipt for the event.  Please note we do not issue paper tickets or receipts.

Booking by post

Please send details of events you wish to book for together with a cheque made payable to “London Insight” to 68 Devonshire Road, London, E17 8QJ. Please include your telephone number and email address.  We will send you a confirmation via email.  If you need a confirmation by post, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

 

Paying on the day

Unless an event is fully booked, it is possible to come without booking in advance. You can pay by cash or cheque, but not by card.  Please note that the standard price for people who have not prebooked is higher (e.g. £20 rather than £17 for most day retreats).  When an event is fully booked, this will be shown on our website, and we usually aim to inform everyone on our email list as well.

 

Our pricing explained

Standard rate: please pay this if you can.  If most people pay this, we will cover our costs during the course of the year.

Sponsor rate: a voluntary, higher rate if you would like to make an extra contribution to our running costs.  As well as contributing to our general costs, we hope that in 2013 the extra income raised will enable us to:

Supported rate:  available to anyone who is retired, a full-time student, unemployed, or has an income too low to pay our normal prices.

If you are eligible for a supported place but can afford to pay the standard rate, please consider doing so.  This will help us keep prices for those who genuinely need supported  places as low as possible

If you cannot afford the supported rate please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (or see this page for other ways of contacting us).  In most cases we will be able to offer you a place, either at a further reduction, or for free  if you cannot afford to pay anything at all.  

 

Information for disabled people

If you need to be accompanied by a personal assistant to an event please let us know when you book, as we need to know numbers attending each event.  Your assistant will be able to attend free of charge.  For more information, please see our Information for disabled people page.

 

Refunds and transfers

If for any reason you cannot attend, refunds are available up to three days before an event.

If you cannot attend because of illness, unexpectedly having to look after someone, or a domestic crisis, we will also refund your booking up to three days after the event.

For a few events, such as our week-long course Work Sex Money Dharma, refund policies will differ.  This will be clearly indicated in the event information on this website.

Please note that we cannot transfer your booking to a different event.  This is because of the administrative workload involved.
