Looking for Lynne Williams

We reconnected three years ago at Sharon Salzberg's retreat. We swapped details but I lost yours. I haven't stopped wondering about you and would love to hear from you.

Film: "Wisdom of Changes - Richard Wilhelm and The I Ching"

We are happy to announce that the DVD of our film is now published in England.

WISDOM OF CHANGES – Richard Wilhelm and the I CHING by Bettina Wilhelm

Confucius, Laotse and in particular the I Ching – The Book of Changes: Richard Wilhelm (1873-1930) is regarded as the European who discovered China´s spiritual world. „Wisdom of Changes“ is a documentary about the life and work of the most distinguished translator and mediator
of classical Chinese culture to the West.

The film narrates from today's perspective of the granddaughter, award winning film director Bettina Wilhelm, the phases of Richard Wilhelm's eventful life in times of dramatic changes. It also provides insight into the deeply humane, timeless Chinese wisdom of the I Ching, which can still
serve as orientation in our own volatile times. With Jonathan Pryce (Voice of Richard Wilhelm).

For further information and trailer please have a look at

The DVD (English version, PAL) is now available in the UK (link: Amazon.co.uk, click „Film and TV“, then title: „Wisdom of Changes“).

Thank you for your kind attention.

CHASING THE FACE OF BUDDHA****

Crowdfunding for Feature Length Documentary****

**

*CHASING THE FACE OF BUDDHA *is a feature length documentary that follows
acclaimed master sculptor and Buddhist, SUNTI PICHETCHAIYAKUL, as he takes
on one of the greatest and most challenging projects of his
career…Sculpting Buddha. In the coming year Sunti will travel across the
world on an extraordinary creative journey and research expedition that
will conclude with his attempt to sculpt the world’s first hyper-realistic
depiction of The Buddha. Specifically, Sunti wants to create a
historically accurate portrayal of the man that Buddha once was, Siddhartha
Gautama, before he became The Buddha 2600 years ago. But the road to
fulfilling this dream is not well traveled and some major obstacles will
have to be overcome along the way, starting with the fact that the earliest
known images of Buddha were not recorded until some 500 years after his
death. And although he is under no illusions about the major obstacles and
limitations in his way, Sunti has spent his entire career pushing the
boundaries of what’s possible in art and this is the project that he’s felt
compelled to pursue since first discovering his remarkable gift as a young
child. ****

**

So far we have funded this film ourselves but now need assistance to
continue capturing Sunti’s unique journey so that we can complete the
film and share it with a worldwide audience. Please visit our crowdfundingwebsite,
http://www.ctfob.com, where donors, both individuals and organizations, can
become a part of this project, learn more about the film and find out what
this funding will support. Donors will receive special exclusive gifts such
as copies of the completed film, limited edition artwork of the completed
Buddha sculpture, updates from the film shoot and a “pay it forward” option
where we will use the proceeds of the film to match or double their
donation for a charity of their choice.****
