Volunteer with us
London Insight is run almost entirely by volunteers, and we always welcome new offers of help. Please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call Louise on 07954 472771 if you’d like to volunteer, or simply want to find out more.
Current needs
Day retreats volunteer team
We have a team of volunteers who sign up in advance for key tasks on the day, such as registration or setting up the meditation hall. Please contact us for more details – new volunteers are always welcome.
Composting
Could you take home food waste for composting, from any day retreats you attend? Ideally you would have a compost bin that happily eats cooked food, cardboard and citrus.
IT skills
We need occasional help in this area. For instance, could you find, evaluate and if necessary customise some free software we could use for taking bookings for interviews with teachers?
Finding venues
We are always interested in finding out about new venues that are suitable for our events. If you know of any, or are interested in researching some, please contact us. Venues need to be realaitvely inexpensive, so we can keep our prices low, and wheelchair-accessible.
Casual help at day retreats
At our day retreats we need some help with setting out lunch, washing up and similar tasks. There is a sign up sheet at the registration desk on the day.
